One thing I say ALL the time in the office during the daily conversations revolved around pain and chronic pain is, “It’s a brain thing, not a pain thing.” But what does that even mean?…

Well, it’s pretty well documented that the annoying sensation we call PAIN is actually just signals interpreted and processed by the organ under our hat. Those signals are sent, received, and active for a multitude of reasons. These signals can be sent as a safety measure to prevent damage or can be in response to damage already done.

Chronic pain is something that is plaguing a massive percentage of today’s population!.... But why?

One of the main reasons is due to a significant lack of movement. Movement and more specifically, movement of the spine, feeds the brain with nutrition and position-sense information called proprioception. When the brain is nourished and properly fed through movement of the spine, we feel less pain. Not only does movement feed the brain with feelings of safety.. It also limits the body and spines ability to become tight, stiff, and immobile. When we don’t move our bodies frequently enough our tissues and joints go through degenerative processes that make them more fragile. These changes are drastically accelerated by our modern lifestyle. Think about it. We sit or stand, statically, for the majority of our waking hours then try to offset those accumulated stressors by doing an intense bout of exercise for a maximum of 90 minutes only to be followed by laying horizontally for 8 sleeping hours, if we’re lucky.. Then we wake up and do it all again the next day. Times this by 10, 15, 20, 30, 45+ years and it’s no wonder our bodies are breaking down so quickly. We allow poor postures to create dysfunctional patterns that break down our parts.

This is why our approach is so effective at MŪV Chiropractic & Yoga. We address the structure(posture), then the function(patterns), and that commonly resolves the problem with the part. Chiropractic actually restores motion to stiffened joints and replenishes fibrotic tissue diminished the static signals sent to the brain and preparing the body for rehabilitation. (It also relieves pain better than Ibuprofen or Tylenol!) After proper communication has been restored, we use a profoundly powerful corrective exercise methodology that is simple and effective to strengthen the body from the inside out. So, whether you suffer from low back pain, sciatica, hip pain, shoulder pain, upper back pain, neck pain, headaches, or you’re just looking to decrease chronic stress.. We can usually help you. It literally blows peoples mind how quickly we can eliminate their pain and dysfunction. We provide the most thorough assessment in Boulder to get a clear understanding of what you need to get you back to feeling your very best.

Take action today or pay for it tomorrow. Seeing a chiropractor can be extremely beneficial, especially if you struggle with chronic pain, fatigue, lack of energy, or digestive problems. Quality chiropractic care can also help prevent injury, help you recover faster, and be a key asset in your overall wellness plan.

Our satisfied patients have raved about our holistic approach to pain relief and how we've helped heal chronic headaches, lower back pain and neck tension.

We get to the root cause! Our wellness care and chiropractic adjustments are of the highest quality.

Why Chiropractic Care?

A Boulder chiropractor can help align your spine and improve your overall health.

Here are just a few of the many benefits of seeing a chiropractor.

Relieves Pain

One of the most common reasons people see a chiropractor is for relief from pain. If you are suffering from back pain, neck pain, headaches, or any other type of pain, a chiropractor can help. Manual manipulation can help relieve pressure on your nerves and guide you towards living pain free.

Improves Energy Levels

If you are struggling with fatigue or low energy levels, seeing a chiropractor may be able to help. When your spine is out of alignment, it can put pressure on your nervous system and cause your body to work harder to function properly. This can lead to fatigue and low energy levels. Chiropractic adjustments can help align your spine and reduce the pressure on your nervous system, leading to improved energy levels.

Reduces Inflammation

Chronic inflammation can lead to various health problems such as joint pain, arthritis, and heart disease. If you are struggling with chronic inflammation, seeing a chiropractor may be able to help. Most chiropractors can help reduce inflammation throughout your body by improving nerve function and blood flow.

Protects Against Sports injuries

Whether a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, you may be at risk for sports injuries.

Seeing a chiropractor can be extremely beneficial if you suffer from a sports injury, such as a hamstring strain or ACL tear.

If you're seeking injury prevention, chiropractic care is also extremely beneficial there! For whole-body balance, spinal manipulation is essential to prevent future injuries. Preventative care is always the best medicine.

Enhances Digestion

Poor digestion can lead to a variety of problems such as bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. If you are struggling with digestive issues, seeing a chiropractor may be able to help. Regular maintenance can improve nerve function and help your digestive system work more efficiently.

Seeing a Boulder chiropractor may help if you have specific health concerns. Chiropractic adjustments can provide relief from these and other health problems. If you are looking for an alternative to traditional medicine, consider seeing a chiropractor.

I have been blessed with opportunities to experience many helpful techniques, with chiropractic and yoga proving to be the most helpful. Truth be told, I was walking with a cane in 2007, but ever since chiropractic I have been able to walk unassisted.

The combination of chiropractic and yoga that MUV studio provides has been incredibly helpful for my posture, movement, flexibility, and most of all comfort. I sincerely look forward to my appointments and recommend this method of health preservation for anyone!" - Alexis LeMaster
